These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Rise Sister Thrive's website and coaching services. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Important: These Terms contain a dispute resolution clause (Section 12) and limitations on liability (Section 10). Please read carefully.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing risesisterthrive.com or engaging our coaching services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Service Description
2.1 Coaching Services
Rise Sister Thrive provides life coaching services to women, including:
- One-on-one coaching sessions (online via video call)
- Transformation assessments
- Coaching packages and programmes
- Resources and materials
2.2 Not Medical or Therapeutic Services
Important: Our coaching services are NOT a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic treatment. We do not diagnose, treat, or cure any mental health conditions. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact:
- Emergency: 999 (UK)
- Samaritans: 116 123 (available 24/7)
- NHS Mental Health Services: 111 (select option 2)
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By using our services, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
4. Service Packages & Pricing
4.1 Chemistry Call
- Price: FREE
- Duration: 30 minutes
- Includes: An introductory conversation to explore whether we are a good fit to work together — no commitment required
4.2 Audit and Action
- Price: Current pricing provided on enquiry
- Includes: Goal-focused sessions, personalised action plan, follow-up resources
4.3 Reboot and Rise
- Price: Current pricing provided on enquiry
- Commitment: 3-month minimum
- Includes: Regular coaching sessions, WhatsApp support, custom workbook, progress tracking
4.4 VIP Intensive
- Price: Current pricing provided on enquiry
- Includes: Bi-weekly sessions, priority WhatsApp access, monthly accountability check-ins, custom resources
4.5 Price Changes
Prices are subject to change. Current clients will be notified 30 days before any price increase affecting their package.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Accepted Payment Methods
- Bank transfer (BACS)
- Revolut
5.2 Payment Schedule
- Chemistry Call: Free — no payment required
- Audit and Action: Payment due in full before sessions commence
- Reboot and Rise: Monthly payments due on the 1st of each month
- VIP Intensive: Quarterly payment due at the beginning of each quarter
5.3 Late Payments
If payment is not received within 7 days of the due date, services may be suspended until payment is received. A £25 late fee may be applied for payments over 14 days late.
5.4 Non-Payment
Continued non-payment may result in termination of services and collection proceedings.
6. Booking & Scheduling
6.1 Booking Process
Sessions must be booked in advance. We will confirm your booking via email within 24 hours.
6.2 Rescheduling
You may reschedule a session with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge. Rescheduling with less than 24 hours' notice is subject to availability.
6.3 Missed Sessions
If you miss a session without 24 hours' notice, the session is forfeited and no refund will be provided. This includes:
- No-shows (failing to attend)
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours)
- Technical issues on your end (internet, device problems)
6.4 Our Cancellations
If we must cancel or reschedule a session, we will provide at least 24 hours' notice when possible. You will receive a full credit or alternative session time.
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
7.1 Chemistry Call
As the Chemistry Call is free, no refund or cancellation terms apply. Please give reasonable notice if you are unable to attend.
7.2 Audit and Action
- Before sessions commence: Full refund if cancelled 48+ hours in advance
- 24–48 hours before: 50% refund
- Less than 24 hours: No refund
7.3 Reboot and Rise (3-month commitment)
- First 14 days: Full refund minus any sessions completed
- After 14 days: No refunds, but you may pause for up to 2 months for extenuating circumstances (serious illness, family emergency)
- Early termination: Remaining months must be paid unless mutually agreed otherwise
7.4 VIP Intensive
- First 14 days: Refund of unused portion (minus completed sessions)
- After 14 days: No refunds for early termination
- Pause option: Available for up to 1 month per quarter for extenuating circumstances
7.5 Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.
8. Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
- Attend sessions on time and prepared
- Complete any agreed-upon actions between sessions
- Communicate openly and honestly
- Inform us immediately if you're experiencing a mental health crisis
- Maintain confidentiality of any materials or proprietary methods shared
- Treat the coach with respect and professionalism
9. Confidentiality
9.1 Our Commitment
We maintain strict confidentiality of all coaching conversations and client information, except:
- When you provide written consent to share information
- When required by law (e.g., court order, safeguarding concerns)
- When there is imminent risk of harm to you or others
- For anonymous case studies (with all identifying information removed)
9.2 Your Responsibility
You agree not to record sessions without prior written consent or share proprietary coaching materials, methods, or tools with third parties.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 No Guarantees
While we are committed to supporting your growth, we cannot guarantee specific results. Your success depends on many factors, including your commitment and circumstances.
10.2 Liability Cap
Our liability to you for any claims arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for services in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10.3 Excluded Damages
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including:
- Lost profits or business opportunities
- Emotional distress
- Loss of data
- Third-party claims
10.4 Exceptions
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law
11. Intellectual Property
11.1 Our Content
All content, materials, worksheets, frameworks, and methods provided are our intellectual property and protected by copyright. You may use them for personal use only.
11.2 Restrictions
You may NOT:
- Reproduce, distribute, or sell our materials
- Use our methods commercially without written permission
- Remove copyright notices or attributions
- Create derivative works for commercial purposes
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Informal Resolution
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@risesisterthrive.com. We commit to responding within 5 business days and working in good faith to resolve the issue.
12.2 Mediation
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, we agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
12.3 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any legal proceedings must be brought in the Scottish courts.
13. Termination
13.1 Your Right to Terminate
You may terminate services at any time, subject to the cancellation policies in Section 7.
13.2 Our Right to Terminate
We may terminate services immediately if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in abusive, threatening, or harassing behaviour
- Fail to pay for services
- Misrepresent information material to the coaching relationship
In such cases, no refund will be provided for prepaid services.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active clients at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rise Sister Thrive regarding our services.
